A pleasent surprise to turn on BBC1 the other night and find this gem of a film. Reading the sysnopsis didnt get me too excited but while watching it became clear this is a really well made film. Why it was on a midnight I dont understand as it is a film for a younger audience but despite this it is enjoyable for people of any age whether they like golf or not.

The sport was just the vessel which translated the story of a young man against all odds acheiving his dream. Its a pretty inspirational film which displays the importance of focus to the younger viewers of focus, self belief and the determination to achieve.
