This is a beautifully made movie, that should become an instant children's classic with the likes of Labryinth. The Yokai are creatures & ghosts taken from Japanese & Chinese folklore. Young Tadashi is chosen to be the next Kirin Rider.
It is his job to protect the friendly Yokai and save Japan from evil spirits. It is directed by Takashi Miike (Audition, Ichi the Killer) and stars Chiaki Kuriyama (Go-Go from Kill Bill).
