This movie realy wasn't that bad. Like I honestly don't think the ratings are fair. If you've seen the trailer you know exactly what you are getting. Matt Damon is on the Great Wall and has to help the Chinese army fight these beasts.

There's good and visually pleasing action/stunt work. The acting is good to decent all around. Willem Dafoe was totally unnecessary and uncalled for I will say. And in all honesty Matt Damon was just miscast.

Ik they needed star power but they probably could have found someone else. And also, the white power controversy isn't necessarily accurate. I will say though that there isn't much character development.

The movie as a whole though isn't bad. Simply put, it's a good movie to see if you just want to see a Fantasy/Action Thriller.
