Review of The Great Wall (2016) by Timothy A — 05 Mar 2017
Makes you long for the sort of Hollywood tripe where they prioritise the CGI over the script - because then at least someone would be putting some effort into SOMETHING. Some quite nice design work and a decent premise are let down by overambition and an appalling script.
Pedro Pascal appears to have no function in the film other than saving Matt Damon from having to deliver the worst clunkers in the dialogue himself.
