Everything about this movie felt artificial: the CGI, the delivery of lines, attempts at humor, and even the background at times. While the conclusion was satisfying, it would be a stretch to say this movie was anything more than something to help your brain pass some gas on a weekend afternoon.
And would it have killed them to cast a Chinese actor as the lead in a movie about the Great Wall? I'm pretty sure Jet Li was available.
