Review of The Great Raid (2005) by Mayank A — 14 Oct 2017
This is a movie loosely based on the most successful rescue mission undertaken by US during WW2. The movie is 30-45 minutes too long; it covers too many angles, a love story, an underground resistance smuggling medicine into the POW camps, the Filipino guerrilla resistance and finally the rescue mission.
The raid itself was exciting and enjoyable the rest of the movie is boring.
