Review of The Great Race (1965) by Craig M — 20 Nov 2007
Okay, it is childish, dumb, silly, old-fashioned, and likely one of the most entertaining films in history. A great autorace between the ultimate good guy and the dastardliest of villians. Jack Lemmon is so far over the top as Professor Fate that he steals every scene and chews up the scenery.
Tony Curtis is the perfect hero. And no one is better than Peter Falk as Fate's henchman. Bewarned though, this puppy is long.
