Review of The Great Outdoors (1988) by Ifiok O — 05 Nov 2009
John Candy is an actor who defines '80s cult classic comedy, as well as Dan Akyroyd. While no one else shined, these two gave pretty decent performances, and managed to keep the interest high when one or both are on screen.
Another aspect of the movie that keeps the laughs coming includes scenes with the woodland creatures, particularly the smart ass raccoons and the bald bear that appears.
