Review of The Great Muppet Caper (1981) by Ren R — 18 Oct 2007
Charles Grodin sings Miss Piggy a serenade in the greatest homage to 1930s musicals ever.
Some folks don't like all the "4th wall" breaking that the story does (Miss Piggy turning to the camera and addressing the audience, Fozzie and Kermit discussing their parts in the film), but I think it's genuinely funny in this movie.
Also, the first musical number of the film is probably the happiest piece of film I've ever seen.
Definitely the best of the Muppet films. I never get tired of it.
