Review of The Great Mouse Detective (1986) by Kory K — 02 Jul 2009
One of my favorites growing up and unfortunately one of the most forgotten films by Disney. Somehow as simple as the story is, the creators figured a way to make the chemistry between Basil and Dawson shine, the villain's scheme actually be reasonable, and make this full investigation take time, in only under an hour and twenty minutes! Vincent Price was an exceptionally good voice cast for the villain.
Ratigan going crazy in the end scared the crap out of me as a kid.
