Looks lovely but the characters so over played they became cardboard characters and rang false. I had the feeling they were going for a surreal vibe but it distracted from connecting with the film. The juxtaposition of the almost over emphasis on slang and catch phrases from the period and scenes with contemporary music was not an effective combination for me.
Visually arresting but characters were cariciatures and all other aspects felt like they were trying too hard and the pieces don't really fit together harmoniously.
