Review of The Great Gatsby (2013) by Donald Z — 05 Jun 2015
At first I felt the scenes are too extravagant to be realistic, and the absurd decorations is Gatsby's house and all the other places were an ugly degradation of the original novel. Yet I came to find that the visual sensations in this film manifest the incredible power of the money, which is at the same time unrealistic and vulnerable.
