I was desperate to despise this film. I had made up my mind when I saw the first trailer that it would be one of Bazes failures and not one of his successes. I could not have been more wrong. This film was beautiful and passionate, artistic and engaging.
I felt as if I was being told this story for the very first time. DiCaprio was born to play this role.
