The best version of the Great Gatsby there is.
There's not really much of a story to tell so I could commend Luhrmann for squeezing out a lot in the visuals department. While it couldn't save the elitist shallowness that lurks within the story, the visuals are worth a look.
But I wouldn't linger in them if I were you. This is the flashiest that it can get. It's almost no different from his other films.
