Review of The Great Gatsby (2013) by Abigail P — 04 Aug 2014
Luhrmann's adaptation can do nothing to detract from the greatness of the classic, instead bringing it to life with a stunning visual display and music that echos the wild and lavish mantra of the tale.
The only downside is the poor performance from DiCaprio who, although warms up to the role, immediately lowers the tone of the film in his very first scene.
