Review of The Great Gatsby (1974) by Angel M — 31 Dec 2009
The movie is considered a failure as it didn't meet up to the expectations of the great novel. The cast wasn't the problem of the movie as their acting was exceptional. Mia Farrow was a great choice to play Daisy.
Robert Redford was also a very suited, and to me, the only actor that could play the role of Jay Gatsby. However, the weakness of the script and the lack of execution created a very average film.
