This was a good movie for the time it was made. Has a great cast and a great true life story. Steve McQueen and James Garner stood out the most has the best actors in the film. A great WWII film. I saw a TV special on one of the actual POW involved with the escape.
He also was one of the advisors to the film. He said about 90% of the film was accurate.
