Review of The Great Escape (1963) by Ankur K — 01 Mar 2010
A great WW2 adventure film...kept me on the edge of my seat with its action and suspense and at almost 3 hrs, it did not feel that long! Its almost hard to believe that its a true story! One thing I did not find great was the portrayal of the Nazis.
..they felt a bit too casual to me, specially in the first half. Apart from that, a near perfect film. Must watch.
