Good war drama, largely based on a true story. Very interesting build-up to the escape, but after that it gets a bit unfocussed.
Solid all-star cast: Steve McQueen, James Garner, Richard Attenborough, Charles Bronson, David McCallum. James Coburn's alleged "Australian" accent is incredibly irritating.
