Review of The Great Escape (1963) by Bryant G — 12 Sep 2014

I was lucky enough to get to see it in theaters for a fundraiser. Even though it was still on DVD I still got to see it on the big screen. But I thought the film was brilliant, great character development, very suspenseful.

Before watching this film I thought that Steve McQueen was the main character but it focused on many different people that I thought were interesting. Also I was surprised because a very famous scene had a different turn out than I was suspecting.

Also Steve McQueen is a great actor and was perfect in his role. I give this film an A+.
