Review of The Great Dictator (1940) by Juan Manuel A — 08 Jan 2011
La escena del globo terráqueo de lo mejor..........A dual movie where both histories interbreed ultimately giving place to a speech of freedom and peace that still lasts. It denounced without complexes the anti-Semitism (not only in Germany or the Soviet Union it existed).
A pity that was not coming where it had to come, Hitler had prohibited Chaplin's movies was doing time. I put on in 1940 before the world knew of the atrocities Nazi. In Spain it was prohibited until 1976.
Precious and worth seeing. The scene of the terrestrial globe of the better thing.
