Review of The Great Dictator (1940) by Jack C — 07 Aug 2012
A comedy extravaganza, still very funny a lot for it's nostalgic value.
It's a shining example of humour being the answer and antidote to a world gone mad with war.
It's also an incredible performance from Chaplin with the end speech very emotional and quite sad too somehow.
Masterpiece.
