Review of The Great Dictator (1940) by Raphael Georg K — 06 Apr 2013
Charlie Chaplin, had made ??us laugh and cry without a making a sound, does he get's talking and make noise ...? Yes, he can, and this film is proof of that!
"The Great Ditactor", in my opinion, is the best movie of the cinema's prince (Charlie Chaplin). He denounces the same time (almost indirectly) the Nazi party in this film brilliantly. This will be a surprise at all because they will see Charlie talking in a movie, but this ruins your whole work? No, no way, with fantastic scenes, touching, laugh and cry at the same time. I watched this movie when I was 8 years old, and had simply adored, like all other films this prince who presents us with a fantastic film that will make anyone laugh and cry.
