Review of The Great Dictator (1940) by Nicolas A — 28 Mar 2009
When I started to watch this movie I didnt expect Chaplin would be so serious but still hillarious, altho I dont know if he's serious as I have only seen this film of him and the gold rush. Chaplin was hillarious and the screenplay was just marvelous and with this great directing, cinematography and the fantastic score it makes this movie a true classic.
Normally I dont find slapstick comedy so funny but I sure did laugh in this movie.
