Review of The Great Dictator (1940) by Travis H — 23 Jan 2010
Chaplin creates a great political message during a time when America was covering their eyes to what was happening to the rest of the world pre-American involvement in WWII. He does it again creating an incredible satire as well as just a great comedy film.
One of my favorites, his roles as the Jewish barber and Hynkel is just hysterical!!! Love it!
