Review of The Great Dictator (1940) by Ken S — 15 Sep 2011
This Chaplin classic is his first full sound film. Chaplin is great as both the timid Jewish Barber, and the dictator of Tomania, Adenoid Hynkel (a not so subtle jab at Hitler). The film is good, it is funny, and it has one of the best inspirational speeches in film.
