Review of The Great Debaters (2007) by Eleanor T — 09 Aug 2008
A really touching film, great acting, especially on the part of Jurnee Smollett, who had a moment in the film that was by far the most moving acting I've seen in a while. Washington is solid, and the rest of the cast follows suit.
Sad story, but culturally significant.
