Review of The Great Debaters (2007) by Mirvana K — 02 May 2009
I love Denzel and I was asked to be on the debate team in high school (but turned it down because I wanted to chase girls instead.) This is a powerful story of the first black college that beat Harvard.
It wasn't well publicized. If it was, I bet it would have won many awards. Interesting plot twist: Denzel is a commie! Better red and well read than dead.
