Produced by Tom Hanks and starring his son, this vanity production is a nice launch for Colin Hanks' career, but it's Malkovich who steals every scene! Lots of cameos and lots of laughs attached to sentimental coming-of-age messages for both the young character and the older one.
Slick and entertaining.
