Review of The Great Buck Howard (2008) by Brian V — 19 Aug 2009
Malkovich does a great job as an ambiguously gay stage performer trying to resurrect his career. There are two stories here, that of the title character finding new fame and that of his personal road assistant who dropped out of law school to find himself.
Plenty of cameos and strong acting keep this feel-good on the positive side of the spectrum.
