Review of The Great Buck Howard (2008) by Simon F — 01 Sep 2009
The great Buck Howard was a mentalist who wowed audiences for years. I would never have been wowed unless I was on a plane that showed John Malkovich at his best, playing a troubled but pure character.
This film entertained and enjoyed. It also continued the rise of Colin Hanks, who is making a fair name for himself. A few fine cameos and a well cast father figure for the young Mr. Hanks (his real dad) kept the movie flowing.
A worthwhile few hours with a fine mentalist.
