The first think you think after watching The Great Buck Howard is â??Tom hanks has a son?â?? The second question is â??whatâ??s the point of all this?â?? The point of the story is the old fashioned do-what-you-love and follow-your-dreams but the movie does this in a very muddled form.
I guess it comes from the fact that Buck is a douche who youâ??d never wanna take advice from anyways. The movie is cute at times but lacks in depth. Buckâ??s diva-ness gets on your nerves so much that you rather him fail so heâ??ll have some kind of change of heart that never happens.
Hanks could have picked a better movie to finance but when your sons in the movie, itâ??s hard to get around that.
