Not a bad film but nothing great either. Malcovich was a good cast choice as he plays an eccentric character. He's completely over the top which is intended and it provides some decent laughs. Colin Hanks is alright.
The story is an interesting feel good story based on the life of a real magician/mentalist. Overall a decent film worth seeing once.
