Review of The Great Buck Howard (2008) by Caleb M — 10 Mar 2010
Is it just me, or does John Malkovich sometimes settle on playing characters as if they had a mental disorder for no reason? He is all over the place here; sometimes funny, sometimes weird, sad or just uncomfortably strange.
Colin Hanks doesn't do much, and Emily Blunt can't save her scenes with a poorly written girlfriend role. The end with Griffin Dunne is nice, but the rest of this film is just tired.
