"La Grande Bellezza" is indeed a great beauty. Sumptuous in appearance, rich in meaning, lushly musical, impeccably acted, it is a worthy Oscar winner. Fellini-esque would be a facile description. It is its own artistic achievement. When you add the "grandeur" that is Rome as back-drop, you have a must-see film. Really... go see it. Sit back and luxuriate. It is a cinematic spa.
