Pretentious, boring and empty. La Grande Bruttezza, should have been titled. Being from Italy I find it actually irritating. It's great at pretending to be a good movie with great cinematography, locations and music score yet it's flat, annoying and quite ridiculous.
Comparisons with Fellini are absurd even if the movie copies a lot from La Dolce Vita. Watch Ora di Religione directed by Bellocchio to see a great movie from which this one copies a lot in a more silly and superficial way.
