I really enjoyed this movie. It reminded me of the action movies of the late 80s and early 90s. Gosling is so good as an action star. It reminded me a little of his performance in "The Nice Guys." Evans is equally good as the completely unhinged bad guy.
It's a more sadistic version of his character in "Knives Out." This movie doesn't reinvent the genre, and it won't change your life, but it's an excellent action movie to distract you from the burning world around us.
