Review of The Gray Man (2022) by Lumdog — 23 Jul 2022
The Gray Man is actually an appropriate title because this film is dull as dogs**t. It’s a film created by committee (or computer algorithm) to try and please as much of the general audience as possible.
It lacks a single frame of originality, and has obviously been dumbed-down to the lowest common denominator to appeal to international audiences. The story is so generic and predictable, dialogue is stupid, action is OK at times but some of the CGI is terrible, and the A-list cast either sleep walk through their roles or give over-the-top that are laughable.
It continues the trend of Netflix original movies being disappointing. How this film cost $200 million is seriously mind-boggling.
