Despite the drubbing this film is getting by professional critics, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. All I was looking for was entertaining action and decent scripting and this film delivered. Chris Evans’ character was a little over the top, but in a fun way, and it was a hoot to see him as the villain for a change.
If you’re looking for an Oscar nominee, keep looking. If you just want to be entertained for a couple hours with some high octane action, you can’t go wrong with this one. I’d compare it favorably to the Jason Bourne films.
I hope they make this into a franchise.
