I thought that it would be a boring movie, but after remembering everything that Hoague told our class about the book, it made the movie that much more endearing. Although, did not like the ending (too hopeful and they completely cut out Rosasharn's baby) and the one scene with Ma got annoying after the fourth time of watching it.
