Review of The Grapes of Wrath (1940) by Lasse C — 26 Nov 2009
Best John Ford film I've seen. Henry Fonda is in his prime here. The story is moving, the acting is beyond reproach and the overall storytelling is excellent. Henry Fonda stated that this film, along with 12 Angry Men, is the best he has ever done.
I am inclined to agree.
