Review of The Grapes of Wrath (1940) by Alexander P — 17 Apr 2012
Not really an enjoyable film but that is not to say it isnt a great one. You get a real sense of perspective from the depression of the time and the journey is an epic and depressing journey in a search for hope.
Fonda is superb as is the preacher. A cinematic must and showing how epic films used to be made.
