Review of The Grapes of Wrath (1940) by David S — 25 Jun 2013
The grapes of Wrath has a dissimilar ending to the novel and consequently it is not as poignant, never the less, the movie really gets the message across. With a great medium using tools such as Henry Fonda, a giant of that age, and director John Ford, the film is really able to personify the troubles of the great depression and the struggle of the average person.
This movie becomes an amazing learning curve of the time.
