Review of The Grapes of Wrath (1940) by Meeraf A — 06 Sep 2013
I read the Grapes of Wrath when I was 18 and it was unbelievable. This move was not. Maybe in it's time when it came it was. But from a modern perspective, no, it didn't wow me like other older movies have done, like Casablanca or The Invisible Man or Lawrence of Arabia.
This didn't capture what I felt from the book at all.
