Review of The Grapes of Wrath (1940) by James H — 19 Jul 2009
One of the greatest films to come out of Hollywood. Director John Ford does an amazing job bringing the classic story to the screen. I feel it's his greatest movie. Henry Fonda gives his best performance ever, Jane Darwell deservedly won an Oscar for her brilliant portrayal.
Poignant, moving with great cinematography. Absolutely an amazing classic.
