Review of The Grapes of Wrath (1940) by Timothy S — 06 Jun 2013
One of the most poignant if not the most poignant film that I have seen, Henry Fonda and Jane Darwell are amazingly powerful in their roles and John Ford's directing is phenomenal where to every scene Ford has worked his magic within it, noticeably where Tom Joad leaves his mother and we see him in the distance ascending a hill, majestic.
