A piece of work that's more of a poem than a film. The story is sometimes difficult to follow if you don't know the history of Ip Man, but it's such a beautiful looking film with marvelous kung fu cinematography that it doesn't really matter.
The action scenes are perfection and the camera work is mesmerizing. A must-see for cinephiles.
