"To say there are no regrets in life is to fool yourself," Gong Er says late in the film. "Imagine how boring life would be without regrets.".
Although this won't be up there as one of my top 10 regrets in life, I do wish I would have caught this on the big screen. It's not the type of movie I would normally choose to see, but nevertheless, its stark beauty and precision won me over.
