Review of The Grandmaster (2013) by Jason C — 30 Apr 2014
This film truly paints how martial arts was a way of life that always pushed individuals for self improvement in spirit, mind and body and deeply embedded in China's pre-Japan occupation. Throughout the film we are constantly reminded on how a country divided by war caused tremendous pain and suffering and always interrupted this priceless culture that much of China was forced to leave behind.
