A fun, if somewhat improbable yarn that's endearing and full of gentle humor, in many ways reminiscent of films like "Local Hero" and the TV series "Northern Exposure" (with a Canadian twist).
As long as you're willing to suspend belief on a few key plot points, this is an enjoyable fable full of charm, magic and beautiful scenery.
